There does exist solution of prevailing political crises if govt shows flexibility: Siraj

ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Pakistan, Sirajul Haq has said that the country is burning while the rulers are sleeping , saying that there does exist solution of the prevailing political crises if the government shows flexibility.

Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Pakistan, Sirajul Haq was addressing the traders at the occasion of his visit to the fire-affected market at I-10 Markaz in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Sirajul Haq said that the rulers do not have the right to lead the nation who cannot face the circumstances with boldness. He said that there does exist the roadmap to come out the particular political situation in the country, saying that he will inform the federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan regarding proposal in this regard during his meeting with the interior minister.

He said that the people of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not consider it a positive step if Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) decides to dissolve the provincial assembly.

He further said that no one can impose compulsion on the PTI if it desires to leave the provincial government, saying it is the right of the PTI to give up the government as it has the majority in the provincial assembly.

Sirajul Haq said that the traders should be compensated for their losses caused by the fire which broke out at a market at I-10 Markaz in Islamabad.

He said that the performance of the concerned government institutions is quite disappointing for overcoming such accidents of fire breaking, saying that the concerned institutions do not have the required resources and fir-fighting instruments.

He said that the attitude of the government in Islamabad can be explained with the expression of Nero fiddling while Rome burned, saying that governance by rulers is mainly confined to their homes and offices.

The JI chief said saving the country and democracy is the need of the hour.

He said that the condition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has not deteriorated to the extent that the provincial assembly should be dissolved.

Sirajul Haq further said that statements issued by the federal ministers against opposition parties were tantamount to adding fuel to the fire and the central government should show some flexibility in its behaviour.

He said that the rulers should awake from the slumber, saying that the protection of the life and property of the citizens should be ensured. He said that the rulers do not have the right to rule over the people who cannot ensure the protection of life and property of the people.

Sirajul Haq said that the situation getting worse and the rulers should think about it, saying that there is bloodshed in the country and the localities are being destroyed while the graveyards are being populated while the rulers are sitting in their palaces and offices, saying that they (rulers) should come forward and show courage and boldness and should face the circumstances.

He expressed hope that the PTI will not take any step with regard to government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which may cause more problems in the province.
