PML-N will not become part of no confidence motion against CM KPK Parvez khattack: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the PML-N will not become the part of the no confidence motion against CM KPK Parvez Khan khattack, adding that the government will tackle the PTI azadi march democratically. Nawaz Sharif said that his government faced no threat from the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) planned ‘Azadi’ march on August 14 in Islamabad. Prime minister said it was his desire that the PTI government should complete its term in KPK and fulfill promises made with the masses of the province during the last elections. He said PML-N believes in democracy.

Presiding over a consultative meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz claimed that his government was not one to fear any form of protest, and said that political problems should only be resolved politically.

According to a private TV channel the meeting discussed strategies to deal with PTI’s planned ‘million’ march. It was also decided in the meeting that the prime minister will hold consultation with leaders of coalition partners and opposition parties regarding the current political situation of the country.

The meeting was attended by top leaders, including the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Senator Pervez Rashid, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal, Abdul Qadir Baloch, Irfan Siddiqui, Mian Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
