Rashid urges permanent members of UNSC to impose sanctions against Israel for its state terrorism against Palestinians

ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has urged the permanent members of the UN Security Council to impose sanctions against Israel for its state terrorism against Palestinians.

Addressing a conference on Gaza issue in Islamabad Tuesday, he said the world powers get united and take action when it comes to dealing with terrorism of non-state actors but they are silent over Israeli aggression against Palestinians including women and children.

He said Israel is mercilessly using the weapons provided by these powers against innocent people and it is responsibility of these powers to use their good offices to help stop Israeli brutalities.

The Minister said if world powers failed to act against Israel then it would be construed that they are not sincere in their commitment against terrorism and are acting selectively against some countries and believer of some particular faith.

The Information Minister said the Prime Minister and the Government of Pakistan has condemned Israeli aggression. He said some other members of the civilized world have also condemned it but influential powers are silent.

He regretted that the world is silent even when Israel is trampling international law and the UN Charter.
