Is govt afraid of Imran’s rally, asks Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly , Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah has said that federal government should tell whether it is scared of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s rally on 14th August.

Syed Khursheed Shah said that deploying military in Islamabad under Article 245 of the constitution for political aims is not appropriate.

Opposition leader said that Article 245 is not imposed even in the most tensed tribal areas. He added that the article should be imposed in Peshawar and Bannu if the situation is that tensed.

“Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had provided water to Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahirul Qadri and safely escorted his rally to Islamabad during Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government”, Khursheed Shah said.
