ISLAMABAD (SANA): State Minister for Ports and Shipping, Nabil Gabool has alleged that Interior Minister Rehman Malik had got launched Liary operation to save his minister-ship .

Talking to a private TV channel, he said the PPP workers are being harassed by the security forces through the operation in Liary, adding that the government should not punish the people of the area under the pressure of launching an offensive against the gangsters and drug mafia.

He opined that had the Landi, Korangi, Azizabad and Usmanabad areas been included, the voters of PPP belonging to Liari would not have any objection on it.

He said he would meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to protest against the attitude of Rehman Malik.
