Nawaz, Sindh CM for unity of political parties

KARACHI (SANA): PML (N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah have stressed the need for unity among all political parties, especially the major one to combat challenges faced by the country.

Addressing a joint news conference in Karachi on Wednesday, they said it is time for promoting political reconciliation and bringing close to the political parties despite having separate manifestos to meet the challenges and return the situation to normalcy.

Nawaz Sharif termed PPP as a precious national asset which is a big political power and said it should remain intact for political stability. He said PML (N) will never become a party of any conspiracy against democratic system.

He said it not a time for launching any movement to remove someone and if any conspiracy was hatched; his party would come out even before the government.

He said his party believes in positive and constructive criticism on issues of national importance and there is no room for criticism for the sake of criticism today.

The PML (N) Quaid said the democratic governments in the country have come into power with a mandate of five years and they should complete their tenure.

He said the country is facing the challenges and problems today are gifted by a dictator who ruined all political norms in the country.

Mian Nawaz Sharif called for implementation of Charter of Democracy to resolve people’s problems.

The Sindh Chief Minister emphasized the need for more unity among political parties to tackle the menace of terrorism and steering the country out of crises.

He said the situation emerged today is result of the policies of dictatorship and unity is vital to remove the excesses done by the dictator in nine years.
