WANA (SANA): In latest development to purge the South Waziristan of militants, the security forces killed six more militants while their six other accomplices received multiple injuries during the ongoing Rah-e-Nijat operation close to the Afghan border.

Reports reached here said that the security forces killed six militants and wounded six others in Ahmedwam area in Sararogha.

In addition to these, the security forces kept on their search operation elsewhere in the South Waziristan tribal region. The security forces recovered some huge cache of explosives and weapons during the search operation.

It may be recalled that the troops are advancing towards militants strongholds Makeen while most of the strategic hill tops are secured by the security forces.
