Qazi asks NRO beneficiaries either to face charges or leave country

PAKPATTAN (SANA): Former Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmed has asked beneficiaries of the notorious National Reconciliation Order (NRO) to get themselves cleared of the charges, otherwise leave the country forever.

To a media chat here on Monday, Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that President Asif Ali under immense duress now-a-days as the government had to face retreat on the controversial issue of the NRO in the parliament after Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) decision not to support the NRO in the parliament.

It is pertinent to mention here that although it was tough time for the President but he also stretched his muscles and went to the extent that either he had to leave the presidency after completion of his tenure or in the ambulance.

To question about the controversial US aid, the leader made it clear that there was no need of the US aid and advised the government that it would be far batter for the country as well as for incumbent government equally to revise its foreign policy and formulate policies free from the US influences.

“Although the masses of the country were living under abject poverty but on the other hand the government insisting to get the US aid regardless its consequences for the rank and file as the government accepts the aid to spend their lives luxuriously” Qazi said while answering a question about the controversial US aid.

He replied to a question regarding the ongoing military operation in embattled South Waziristan Agency and Swat, former Amir said that the Pak army got tremendous success in the Swat operation and the forces getting near to the militant last ditch in the South Waziristan as well.
