ISLAMABAD (SANA): Former President Supreme Court Bar Association Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has announced that he would not entered into the Lahore Bar unless straight action is taken against the lawyers involved in beating the ASI and the journalists.

Talking to a private TV channel here on Thursday, he said, “I am heartbroken over the lawyers’ back-to-back violent attacks on the journalists. The journalists, whose cameras were broken, contributed a lot in the lawyers’ movement as they used to walk, even holing heaving equipments, with the rallies for miles without taking care of anything.”

He strongly condemned the lawyers, saying the lawyers’ act, to stop the journalists from performing their professional duties, cannot be justified.

Aitzaz said, “He will consider his Lahore Bar membership as suspended and not utilize the facilities of the bar unless the action is taken against the culprits in accordance with the law.”
