Good for the Pakistani Navy! Reports are that Pakistan is also looking into buying some secondhand British surface ships; in addition to the Hazzard Class frigate they’ll receive from the U.S. in August 2010. Then there is the expected future acquisition of top rate German U-214 submarines. Add to this a future fighter squadron of JF-17’s — which started final stage production in Kamra today — and P-3C AEW aircraft, and you have something significant to work with in meeting potential challenges and threats.
