SRINAGAR (SANA): The chairman of Hurriyat Conference (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has visited the residence of the Democratic Freedom Party, chairman,   Shabir Ahmad Shah, who was released after nine-month detention, a Hurriyat spokesman said.

 He said Hurriyat chairman was accompanied by Khalil Muhammad Khalil, Jahangir Gani Bhat, and Shabir Ahmad Dar, advocate Shahid-Ul-Islam, Javaid Ahmad Mir and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash.

 Later Mirwaiz visited SKIMS Soura -to enquire about the health of a youth, Arif Ahmad, who was hit by a tear smoke canister yesterday in old city, he added.
