K solution must for lasting peace: Omar
SRINAGAR (SANA): Chief Minister occupied Kashmir Omar Abdullah has said that for permanent peace, Kashmir needs urgent focus for amicable solution.
Addressing NC workers, who had come to felicitate Omar following party’s victory on three parliamentary seats in Kashmir and the assembly constituency of Sonwar, Omar said, “The credit for our victory goes to the people of Kashmir. The next five and-a-half years would witness peace and development in the State”.
The chief minister said that for the permanent peace, political stability and sustained development, all issues pertaining to Kashmir need urgent focus for amicable solution. “Our government would take concrete steps towards this direction”, Omar said.
He said that the return of UPA to power in New Delhi is a good omen for the peace and development in the State.
