No peace possible until K-issue resolved: JKLF
SRINAGAR (SANA): Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front acting chairman, advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat has said the peace and prosperity would continue to elude the subcontinent until Kashmir issue was resolved in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of its people.
“The so-called chief minister or anyone else can’t deny the fact that Jammu Kashmir is a disputed territory and no peace is possible in the subcontinent until it is resolved,” said Bhat while addressing a JKLF workers’ meeting held at Kulgam in connection with the Maqbool Day.
Bhat reiterated that the JKLF would continue its struggle till the dream of independent Kashmir was translated into the reality.
Meanwhile, JKLF has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the demise of its prominent member Farooq Ahmad War of Anchar Srinagar. War died due to cardiac arrest.
A delegation of JKLF leaders and activists participated in the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of the deceased and visited his residence. The members prayed for the peace to departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
