26 Pakistanis fishers held by Indian Navy

ISLAMABAD (SANA): Indian Coastal Guards arrested 26 Pakistani fishers along with four fishing boats on Sunday.

According to Indian media, 26 crew members have also been taken into custody and are being brought back to Jakhau, the coastal area of Gujarat by Indian Coastal Guards.

The four boats - Al Imran, Al Bashir, Bismillah and Ab-Dullaha - had strayed 12 nautical miles into Indian waters before they were intercepted by the Coast Guard boat ICGS Sarabhai, Indian media quoted as sources saying.

They will be handed over to the local police in Jakhau to ascertain the nationality of crew members found with the boats, they said.
