Pakistan to continue to support Kashmiris: Fazal
MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 19 (SANA): Special Committee of the Parliament on Kashmir Chairman and Jamiat Ulamah Islam-F (JUI-F) Chief Mualana Fazalur Rehman on Wednesday said that Pakistan would continue to support Kashmiris’ movement for attainment of right of self determination.
Addressing a ceremony hosted by AJK government in the honor of members of the said committee here, he said that intoxicated India should not attempt to spoil the peace of South Asia saying it should let Kashmiris to enjoy their basic right of self determination.
He said the India should not undermine Pakistan’s efforts for peace and it should resolve the issue in order to make the region a peace hub.
He also hailed US president-elect Barack Obama’s statement regarding Kashmir issue.
He also demanded the government for halting operation in the tribal areas and resolving the issue through dialogues with stakeholders.
It is pertinent to mention that the committee is on the visit of AJK in order to hold talks with Kashmiri leadership regarding Pak-India dialogue over Kashmir and the overall situation of the issue.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister AJK Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan also spoke on the occasion.
