232000 people sent abroad for employment: Kaira
ISLAMABAD, Nov 12 (SANA): Minister for Kashmir Affairs Qamaruz Zaman Kaira has said that two lac and thirty-three thousand people have been sent abroad for employment.
Talking in the national Assembly on Wednesday, he said that government is discouraging illegal practice of sending people abroad for employment. He said Pakistan has a surplus labour economy and is providing qualified, skilled, semi skilled and unskilled workers besides professionals to more than fifty-two countries.
He said high level delegations are being sent abroad for exploring opportunities for the export of manpower.
